Free radicals cause damage in our bodies and by not having enough antioxidants an imbalance is caused where the body’s ability to detox is impaired causing oxidative stress. Make sure that you add one or more antioxidant rich foods to every meal, start by choosing your favorite fruit, nut or vegetable and work your way up from there. Another good and easy alternative is a fresh-squeezed vegetable juice if you are on the run.
